My Role
I was the Lead UI Designer for the Amarin TV app. I worked with a UX researcher and PM to strategize, design, and rapidly prototype multiple design concepts. Our goal was to present these concepts to Amarin and provide them with a vision for the app. Throughout the project, I was constantly exploring new technologies, tools, and techniques to execute the vision while building trust with our client.

Challenge
One of the biggest challenges we faced was prioritizing key features for the initial launch. We had a lot of great ideas, but we had to be realistic about what we could achieve in a limited amount of time. We also had to balance user needs, business goals, and stakeholder expectations.
Process and Solution
Empathizing and Understanding the business objectives
Our journey began with a kickoff meeting to grasp the business objectives and goals. The proposed Amarin 34HD app aimed to offer a superior user experience, attracting new customers with high-quality, rich content.
Prioritizing Requirements and Creating a Project Roadmap
We listed and ordered the main things we need to deliver, so that the project moves forward in a clear way.
Research and Analyze
Understanding the user - Our client conducted user research and provided us with the data, which we reviewed and analyzed to gain a better understanding of the user's needs, goals, frustrations, and expectations.
Persona - Based on the analysis, we create the persona.
Understanding User Flow: We analyzed potential user interactions within the app, streamlining processes for an intuitive user experience.

Design
Creating a Concept and Mood Board: This helped visualize the aesthetic and functional direction of the app, aligning the design with the brand's identity.

Creating a Wireframe: This step laid the foundation of the app's structure, giving us a skeletal framework to build upon.
First design proposal - We followed the mood board concept and started designing the first five core pages. This helped the client see the big picture of the entire design before we delved deeper.
Design System –I created the design system, which allowed me to rapidly iterate and scale the design. It also became the primary language of communication between myself and the developers.
Final Design
Prototype
Developing the Minimum Viable Product (MVP): We focused on integrating the most essential features, providing users with immediate value while allowing room for feedback and iterative improvements.
