It offers adaptive learning in math and reading, diverse online courses, and robust planning tools. I have led the design process, focusing on the kid's experience, parent controls, the entire mobile design, and establishing the initial design system.

Home educators use Homeschool+ to enhance their homeschooling experience.
The Homeschool+ app provides a customizable learning environment for children aged 4-8. It offers adaptive learning in math and reading, a variety of online courses, and robust planning tools.

We analyzed the competitors of Homeschool Plus to identify its current strengths and weaknesses. We synthesized the data into a matrix for clearer visualization of patterns and potential areas of weakness.
Key Insight from competitive review:
Homeschooling platforms often offer extensive content or customization but lack a balance of structured guidance and flexibility, leaving users overwhelmed or restricted.
We conducted in-depth interviews with parents in our target demographic, asking questions designed to uncover their pain points, resource discovery habits, and aspirations for their homeschooling journey.
While each user type had a variety of needs and pain points, across all user types, it was clear to us that the most important takeaways were
Adaptive Learning for Customization: Homeschool+ provides the right level of challenge with flexibility for parents.
Curation and Transparency for Trust: Clear labeling, search by learning style, and knowledge of various homeschool philosophies distinguish it.

Homeschool+ provides various tools and resources to support the homeschooling journey, such as progress tracking, lesson planning, and organization features.
Prototype MVP
Transforming our high-fidelity wireframes into an interactive prototype, we effectively communicated with developers to build the MVP product. This allowed us to simulate the user experience more realistically, identify any issues, and make necessary improvements.
